PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE (“TERMS”) CAREFULLY. THEY CONSTITUTE A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND SCORE PILOT INC.(“SCORE PILOT,” “WE,” “US,” OR “OUR”). BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SCORE PILOT SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
IF YOU ARE BETWEEN 13 AND 15 YEARS OF AGE, YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST REVIEW AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS ON YOUR BEHALF AND TAKES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR COMPLIANCE. THE SERVICE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USERS UNDER THE AGE OF 13.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Score Pilot SAT practice platform, including the website at scorepilotai.com and all related features, AI tools, and content (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes as described in Section 17.
2. Description of Service
Score Pilot provides an AI-powered SAT practice platform, including realistic mock exams, AI-generated question explanations, a voice-based AI tutor, and performance tracking. The Service is intended solely for personal, non-commercial, educational use.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
3. Alpha Test Disclaimer
Alpha Phase
- The Service is currently in an invite-only alpha test phase and is provided “as is” for testing purposes. It is not a finished commercial product.
- Features, content, data, and functionality may change, break, or be removed without notice.
- Your exam data, scores, and account information may be reset at any time during the alpha period without prior notice.
- Bugs, errors, and service interruptions are expected and do not constitute a breach of these Terms.
- Alpha access is invitation-only and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, or transfer your invitation code.
4. Eligibility & Age Requirements
- You must be 16 years of age or older to use the Service independently.
- If you are between 13 and 15 years old, you may only use the Service with the verified consent of a parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf and is fully responsible for your use of the Service.
- The Service is not intended for children under 13. Users under 13 are prohibited from creating an account or using the Service. If we discover that a user under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements above.
5. Invitation Code & Account
- Access to the Service requires a valid invitation code. Each invitation code is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.
- One account may be created per invitation code.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it updated.
- We reserve the right to revoke your access for any violation of these Terms.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, educational purposes. You agree not to:
- Share, sell, or transfer your invitation code to any other person
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or collect data from the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service
- Attempt to circumvent any authentication, rate limiting, or security measures
- Use the Service to build a competing product or service
- Upload, transmit, or submit any content that is harmful, illegal, or infringes on the rights of others
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service in any manner that could impose an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure
We reserve the right to investigate and take action against any violations of these Terms, including suspending or terminating your access.
7. Intellectual Property
All content included in the Service — including exam questions, AI-generated explanations, software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks — is the property of Score Pilot Inc. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational use.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without our prior written consent.
Feedback & Bug Reports. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or bug reports to us, you grant Score Pilot Inc. an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, modify, incorporate, and sublicense that feedback for any purpose, without obligation to compensate you. Score Pilot will treat all feedback as non-confidential.
SAT is a registered trademark of College Board. Score Pilot is an independent practice tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board.
8. AI Disclaimer
THE SERVICE USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO GENERATE QUESTION EXPLANATIONS AND PROVIDE VOICE-BASED TUTORING. AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR CONTAIN ERRORS (“HALLUCINATIONS”). SCORE PILOT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT.
AI EXPLANATIONS AND VOICE TUTOR RESPONSES ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR OFFICIAL COLLEGE BOARD MATERIALS, PROFESSIONAL TUTORING, OR FORMAL ACADEMIC INSTRUCTION. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DECISIONS MADE BASED ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
SCORE PILOT DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC SCORE IMPROVEMENT, ADMISSION TO ANY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION, OR ANY OTHER EDUCATIONAL OUTCOME AS A RESULT OF USING THE SERVICE.
9. Disclaimers & Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. SCORE PILOT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
DURING THE ALPHA TEST PHASE, THE SERVICE MAY BE UNAVAILABLE, UNSTABLE, OR SUBJECT TO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES WITHOUT NOTICE. APPLICABLE LAW MAY NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SCORE PILOT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, EVEN IF SCORE PILOT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE EXTENT SCORE PILOT HAS ANY LIABILITY TO YOU UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO SCORE PILOT IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($100). BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY FREE DURING THE ALPHA PERIOD, THIS AMOUNT IS EFFECTIVELY $0 OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
THE LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THE BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN SCORE PILOT AND YOU. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN FULL.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Score Pilot Inc.and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any content or information you submit to the Service.
California Residents — Section 1542 Waiver.You expressly waive the protections of California Civil Code Section 1542, which provides: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.” If you are not a California resident, you waive any substantially similar statute or doctrine in your jurisdiction.
12. Termination
These Terms are effective until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 8 (AI Disclaimer), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), 15 (Governing Law), and 17 (General Provisions) survive any termination.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (AI explanations), Google (voice tutor, text-to-speech), and infrastructure providers. These third parties have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Score Pilot is not responsible for the practices, terms, availability, or content of any third-party service. Your use of these features is subject to the applicable third-party terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising from or related to the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and Score Pilot consent to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for the resolution of any disputes not subject to the Dispute Resolution provision below.
16. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at customer.service@scorepilotai.com and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally. Engaging in good-faith informal resolution is a condition precedent to any formal proceeding.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm while informal resolution is pending.
17. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and Score Pilot regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior negotiations, agreements, and understandings.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force Majeure. Score Pilot shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, natural disasters, or failures of third-party infrastructure.
- Electronic Communications. By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
- Updates to Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where feasible, by sending a notice to your registered email address or posting a prominent in-app notice.
